Peach Skin

Peaches

You know what time it is…Peach soap time. We have such an amazing peach fragrance; it needs its own soap. I checked around to see if peach was even a thing, may be no one even wants peach soap. It turns out that there are plenty of peach soaps… peach in color…smell like peaches…but no actual peaches in the soap, well what is the point of that?

Peaches play an important role in skincare, thanks to their rich variety of skin friendly nutrients and antioxidants. High in vitamins C, A and K, peaches are great for your skin.  It tightens the skin’s pores and rejuvenates tired skin. The beta carotene, potassium, magnesium and selenium in peaches protect your skin from the harmful ultraviolet rays.

Peach is a great moisturizer for dry skin due to the presence of vitamin A and C. It is the perfect ingredient for ageing skin products. Wrinkles, fine lines, dark circles, and blemishes can all be tamed by the antioxidant power of the peach.

I bet you didn’t know that the proteins contained in peaches facilitate tissue repair. Applying some on cuts or lacerations can help you heal a little faster. Eating peaches often helps improves your immune system, keeping skin infections at bay.

Rubbing a slice of peach on your skin as face mask sloughs away dead skin cells and the enzymes present in it nourish and refresh your skin. The peel of fruit can also cleanse your skin effectively. Peach can also be used in oily skincare regimens as well as cosmetics.

…And you thought it was just juicy and delicious.
