Why Papaya?
I'm in love with Papaya. I can't get past the smell to eat it fresh but I love, love, love it for my skin. It is packed with Vitamin A, C, E and Carotene. Papaya also contains papain, an enzyme that will help make your skin softer and tone more even. It works by gradually exfoliating the layers of skin and subduing melanin to reveal the new, healthy, glowing skin underneath.
It is abundant in natural alpha-hydroxy acids better known as AHA. It is one of the main ingredients in those expensive anti-aging skin creams. It is a great ingredient for mature skin because if it's ability to exfoliate and give your skin that brighter, more youthful appearance. Papaya can also helps with discoloration resulting from burns.
You can use raw papaya to spot treat acne marks and blemishes. Try mixing a paste of papaya
and honey for rejuvenating facial mask. For all over treatments, try a papaya soap. I
have seen lots skin lightening soaps with questionable ingredients. You really
don't need all of the extras, just a nice natural soap with lots of papaya.
I know you just can't wait to get started but before
slathering yourself with papaya but first, take a very small amount of papaya and rub it
on the inside skin of your wrist. If your skin reddens, itches, or
swells, you may be allergic to it. If you already know you have a latex
allergy, don't even bother.
